The Forgeline engineering team is proud to release their latest Heritage Series wheel. The new HL3X is a variation of their original HL3, a tribute to the classic Halibrand wheels of the ’60s that famously carried the Ford GT40 to victory at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. The HL3X follows a similar design theme to the original HL3 but features larger, more-aggressive spoke window openings to better display the underlying brake hardware, improve cooling, and reduce mass.

3. Big Car Shroud
Classic Industries announces the arrival of the new OER reproduction of the original radiator fan shroud designed for use with ’66-68 Chevrolet Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne, and Caprice models with small-block engines. Each shroud is manufactured in injection-molded ABS replicating the original GM shroud in design, appearance, and fitment. The radiator shroud will mount correctly to any original GM or OER reproduction radiator.

4. A-Body G-Machine Chassis
The ’73-77 GM A-body, such as the Chevy Laguna, Pontiac Can Am, Buick Skylark, and Olds Cutlass are gaining traction with enthusiasts. Schwartz Performance now offers a G- Machine chassis to update these cars to modern standards, including needle bearing–supported A-arms and extra-long coilovers positioned at each corner to improve the handling and ride quality. A power rack and splined sway bars with billet arms are also provided. The rear suspension consists of a triangulated four-bar system with Teflon-lined spherical rod ends coupled to a full-floating Moser 9-inch rearend.

Heat is your brake fluid’s worst enemy. Air pockets form in the fluid as it heats up, creating vapor lock that can cause brake fade and a loss of stopping power. If you use brake fluid with a low dry boiling point, the quicker you’ll get vapor lock. Summit Racing’s DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid has a minimum dry boiling point of 572 degrees F (300 degrees C) to reduce vapor lock and brake fade for high-performance, street-driven, and track-day cars. The Hilborn RAW (Race-And-Win) Injector is the classic racing unit for the standard Gen 1 small-block Chevy.
